Responsible Gaming

We strive to be a responsible corporate citizen and provide our customers with a positive gaming experience. While most of our customers enjoy gaming as a form of entertainment, a small percentage may experience problems. At Chances Prince Rupert all employees have taken the ART Program “Appropriate Response Training” to enhance their knowledge, awareness, attitudes and skills of our staff so they may respond appropriately to guests who may be experiencing problems. Our Game Sense Information Centre is a interactive booth on the gaming floor which provides information on responsible play, odds of winning, gambling myths and facts, risk factors and where to find help for problem gambling. This includes a Voluntary Self Exclusion Program that allows an individual to exclude himself/herself from all gaming centres and casino properties in British Columbia for a set period of time.
